Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Installer Lead to spearhead installation projects, oversee field operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC installation teams, providing clear direction and mentorship to ensure timely project completion.
• Interpret and utilize technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and mechanical drawings to execute installations accurately.
• Coordinate with project managers, service technicians, and other trades such as plumbing and refrigeration specialists to streamline workflows.
• Perform field service tasks including equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, appliances, boilers, and refrigeration units.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations; conduct safety audits regularly.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for fabrication or repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and service logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction-related roles with a strong background in HVAC installation or service technician work.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing systems, appliance repair, equipment repair, welding techniques, and property maintenance.
• Field service experience with a focus on troubleshooting complex systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating,Ventilation,A/C/Refrigeration) standards; experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
