Position Overview:
As a HVACR Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in heating and air conditioning systems and components will be the guiding light that leads them to a promising career in many different industries. Responsibilities:

• Inspire and Educate: Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can develop the knowledge and technical skills required for careers in HVACR. Deliver clear instruction that connects theory with real-world applications in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Hands-On Training: Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations in laboratory environments. Guide students through system diagnostics, installation procedures, equipment operation, and troubleshooting to ensure they develop strong technical competencies.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the education team to support curriculum updates, improve instructional materials, and ensure course content reflects current HVACR industry standards, technology, and best practices.
• Mentorship: Support and mentor students throughout their training by providing feedback, encouraging critical thinking, and helping them develop the problem-solving skills needed to succeed in the HVACR field.
• Safety First: Promote and enforce safe work practices in all instructional settings. Teach and model proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment while reinforcing industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of practical field experience in HVACR installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or service.
• Certifications: Industry-recognized HVACR certifications are preferred (EPA Section 608 required or ability to obtain). Additional manufacturer or industry certifications are valued.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to students and staff.
• Patience and Empathy: Demonstrates a patient and supportive approach to instruction, recognizing that students learn at different paces and require individualized guidance.
