HVAC Lead Technician

Job Summary

We are a locally owned and growing HVAC company seeking an Experienced HVAC Lead Service Technician to join our Team. This position is for a hands-on technician with at least 2 yrs of field experience who can confidently diagnose, service and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You must also have a valid drivers license with a clean driving history.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to perform, reliable and can represent our company professionally in customer's homes. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to run service calls independently while maintaining a high level of quality and customer service.

This is Not an entry level position-we are looking for a tech who already has real-world experience and is ready to grow with a company that values hard work, integrity and long term success.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls
• Identify system issues and clearly explain repair options to customers
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
• Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites
• Properly document work performed and parts used in Housecall Pro
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards
• Communicate effectively with office staff and team members
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction environments with a strong background in HVAC system installation and maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (not just replace parts)
• Solid understanding of refrigerant cycles and system operation
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems (split, heat pumps, air handlers)
• Ability to read gauges and understand pressures and checking superheat/subcool, and system performance
• Electrical troubleshooting (low and high voltage)
• Understanding of airflow, duct systems and system performance
• Ability to work indenpendently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to use HVAC tools and equipment
• Experience with customer communication and upselling repairs if needed.
• Experience with ipads/service software (Housecall Pro) a Plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• EPA Certification preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
