Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and plumbing infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, motors, valves, pumps, and electrical wiring to restore system functionality promptly.
- Perform equipment repairs involving welding, mechanical adjustments, or replacement of parts to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to facilitate precise troubleshooting and system modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs documenting all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Support property maintenance tasks such as appliance repair, air conditioning servicing, and ammonia refrigeration management to uphold safety standards.
Qualifications
- Some Familiarity with construction principles and the ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents.
- Mechanical knowledge, equipment repair, welding skills, and general property maintenance.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot effectively in diverse environments using tools like ohmmeters.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
