Part-time Air Conditioner Maintenance Technician

Experience 2+ Years in AC Repair & Fault Diagnosis

Education High School Diploma or above; DAE in RAC/HVAC preferred

Certification Pakistan HVAC certificate required; EPA 608 is a plus

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

You are the expert customers trust when their AC breaks down. This role demands real technical depth , from diagnosing complex compressor faults to replacing circuit boards , while delivering a service experience that keeps customers coming back.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform on-site diagnosis and repair of split and floor-standing AC units across major brands: Gree, Haier, Pel, and others.
• Accurately identify root causes of faults , compressor issues, circuit board failures, fan motor problems, refrigerant leaks, and more.
• Follow SOP standards for all repair work; replace damaged parts (core and general) to prevent recurring faults.
• Apply proper safety measures throughout , protect yourself, the customer's property, and the equipment.
• Explain fault findings and repair plans clearly to customers before proceeding, and obtain consent.
• Clean up the work site after every job and confirm customer satisfaction before leaving.
• Maintain detailed service records: fault description, parts replaced, costs, and customer feedback.
• Report recurring issues or spare parts shortages to help improve inventory planning.
• Manage your personal tools and spare parts responsibly; flag any damage or shortages promptly.
• Participate in regular technical training and skill assessments , keep your knowledge current.
• Adhere strictly to company ethics: no private side jobs, no unauthorized charges, no sharing of customer data.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of AC maintenance experience with strong hands-on fault diagnosis skills.
• Solid knowledge of refrigeration systems and AC electrical circuits , can read schematics confidently.
• Proficient with tools: multimeter, vacuum pump, refrigerant gauges, oscilloscope, and more.
• Familiar with Pakistan-specific AC models and energy efficiency standards.
• Fluent Urdu for customer communication; basic English to read technical manuals.
• Holds a valid Pakistan HVAC operation certificate (EPA 608 preferred; internal certification available within 3 months for strong candidates).
• Age 18–35, physically fit for field work including elevated installations.
• Living near Bahria Town is a strong advantage.
