HVAC Maintenance Technician

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HVAC maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including cleaning coils, changing filters, and lubricating moving parts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system problems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts and components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
• Perform system tests to ensure proper operation of HVAC systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, including air handlers, ductwork, and thermostats.
• Document all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification or related technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
