HVAC Multifamily Project Coordinator

Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, has an Immediate opening for an HVAC Multifamily Project Coordinator.
JOB SUMMARY
The HVAC Multifamily Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC installation projects for multifamily and light commercial construction. This role works closely with project managers, field teams, and internal departments to help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company quality and safety standards.
This is a developmental role designed to build foundational knowledge in HVAC systems, construction processes, and project management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in coordinating HVAC installation projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Support field teams by helping track progress, schedules, and daily jobsite needs
  • Work with project managers and internal teams to help develop project timelines and plans
  • Assist with material procurement, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with the shop and vendors
  • Review drawings and specifications to gain familiarity with project requirements
  • Help monitor project progress and communicate potential issues related to schedule, cost, or quality
  • Support enforcement of company safety standards and jobsite compliance
  • Assist with timecard collection, basic scheduling updates, and workforce coordination
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including labor tracking and job records
  • Provide support for estimating, including takeoffs, budgeting assistance, and change order documentation
  • Build working relationships with field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
  • May assist in coordinating field crews under the direction of a Project Manager
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 0–3 years of experience in construction, HVAC, or a related field (internship or field experience preferred)
  • Basic understanding of construction processes; HVAC knowledge is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to learn project management, scheduling, and job costing
  • Ability to read or learn to read blueprints and construction documents
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments
  • Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and navigating active jobsites
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when needed
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Repetitive use of hands, including typing and handling documents

Pay Transparency:
This job posting may span more than one career level.
In addition to base salary, this job may be eligible to participate in our corporate discretionary bonus program, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar industry companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is: $68,000 - 78,000
