HVAC PPM (Luxury Hosptality)

An HVAC PPM Technician ensures the optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a luxury hotel or resort. This role focuses on Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to prevent equipment breakdowns, enhance guest comfort, and maintain the high standards expected in luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, boilers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect, clean, and service HVAC components to ensure peak performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all PPM activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support emergency maintenance and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and hotel SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints related to HVAC systems, ensuring a seamless luxury experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma, degree, or certification in Mechanical/Electrical/ HVAC Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and preventive maintenance programs, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration, and ventilation.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of performing duties, including climbing, lifting, and accessing equipment.
