We are seeking an energetic, results-driven HVAC Service & Sales Manager to lead and grow our service and sales operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue, develop high-performing technicians, and oversee daily operations while ensuring exceptional customer service. You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence, strengthening client relationships, and implementing systems that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and service plans to achieve company growth targets
  • Lead, coach, train, and hold accountable a team of HVAC technicians and sales staff
  • Track, monitor, and improve KPIs for technicians, including conversion rates, average ticket, maintenance agreements, and overall performance
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within service operations
  • Ensure technicians are consistently presenting solutions and delivering strong customer experiences
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues proactively before they escalate into negative reviews
  • Provide real-time support to technicians in the field, helping troubleshoot technical challenges and close opportunities
  • Train and develop technicians in both technical skills and sales processes to improve performance and consistency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial clients, contractors, and key accounts
  • Identify new market opportunities through analysis of industry trends and customer needs
  • Utilize CRM and field service platforms such as ServiceTitan, FieldPulse, and Podium to track sales activity, manage pipelines, and measure performance
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns that generate leads and support sales growth
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to secure profitable business
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on HVAC systems and solutions
  • Deliver regular performance reports to ownership, including sales metrics, technician KPIs, and growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HVAC service management, sales management, or a similar leadership role
  • Strong background in driving sales through service teams
  • Demonstrated ability to track and improve technician KPIs and performance metrics
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC sales and business development
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceTitan, FieldPulse, Podium, or similar platforms
  • Strong technical HVAC knowledge with the ability to support field technicians
  • Experience training and developing technicians in both technical and sales skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make performance-driven decisions
  • Accountability-driven with experience reporting directly to ownership or executive leadership
