HVAC Service Dispatcher

About the Role

The HVAC Service Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating service calls, scheduling technicians, and ensuring efficient daily operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians for service calls, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
Coordinate technician schedules to maximize operational efficiency and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
Handle incoming client service calls, following company procedures.
Dispatch technicians on previously scheduled maintenance and service assignments.
Maintain clear, continuous communication between customers, technicians, and management.
Review technician payroll and time records for accuracy.
Assist onboarding technicians, following employment policies and procedures specifically related to dispatch operations.
Support fellow dispatchers by managing phone overflow and providing coverage during lunch breaks, sick leave, and vacation time.
Adapt quickly to shifting schedules, field conditions, and changing daily priorities.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of service dispatching or related operational experience required (HVAC or mechanical trade experience preferred).
Proven background delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $25 - $30 per hour
