HVAC Service Expert

The Role

As an HVAC Service Technician at RCL Mechanical, you’ll work closely with our dispatch team and service manager to deliver top-notch service from the first knock on the door to the final handshake. You’ll have the independence to run your calls while knowing you’ve got a whole team backing you up.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend the best solutions
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements on a variety of HVAC equipment (furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and more)
• Complete preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and providing honest recommendations
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional-looking service vehicle
• Promote our Total Home Care Club membership program to customers
• Earn positive Google reviews to help grow our reputation
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (including some weekends/off-hours)

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues
• Clean, professional communication skills with customers and team members
• A team-first mindset with the motivation to deliver 5-star work
