Service Manager – Hart HVAC & Electric
Compensation Rage: $80,000 - $100,000 (Base & Bonus)
About the Role
Hart HVAC & Electric is seeking a high-performance Service Manager with a skilled-trades background and a strong concentration in sales, revenue generation, and business growth development. The ideal candidate brings proven success in scaling service operations, leading sales-driven teams, and maximizing profitability within both residential and commercial HVAC markets. Proficiency with ServiceTitan CRM is required, along with strong HVAC technical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead Sales-Driven Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand residential and commercial service revenue.
- Coach technicians on identifying and presenting additional service opportunities.
- Manage membership program sales, follow-up processes, technician sales performance, and outbound outreach.
- Set and manage daily/weekly/monthly sales objectives with accountability and KPI tracking.
Operational & Technical Leadership
- Manage daily HVAC service operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatch, and workflow.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and diagnostic support for residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed for repairs, maintenance, and system performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with all codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Support operational excellence by improving systems, processes, and team efficiency.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop service technicians and office personnel.
- Conduct ride-alongs, KPI reviews, technical coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a high-performing culture aligned with Hart HVAC & Electric’s values.
Revenue & Business Growth
- Use ServiceTitan CRM to track KPIs, optimize dispatch, improve job costing, and increase conversion rates.
- Drive revenue through improved average ticket size, close rates, and recurring service agreements.
- Implement strategies that enhance customer retention and long-term profitability.
- Identify new growth opportunities in the Weatherford and Parker County markets.
Customer Experience Excellence
- Ensure outstanding customer service from initial contact to job completion.
- Resolve escalated service issues quickly and professionally.
- Protect and build Hart HVAC & Electric’s reputation for quality and reliability.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of HVAC residential and commercial service experience, including hands-on technical work.
- Strong technical ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems in both residential and commercial applications.
- Background in sales, revenue generation, and scaling service departments.
- Experience using ServiceTitan CRM for reporting, dispatch, and revenue tracking.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving ability.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on growth and continuous improvement.
