HVAC Service Manager

We’re a growing home services company looking for a Service Manager to lead, coach, and drive performance from our service technician team. This role is ideal for a strong technical leader with experience managing field teams, operations, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, coach, and retain service technicians
  • Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and skill assessments
  • Oversee daily scheduling, routing, and dispatch coordination
  • Reduce callbacks, rework, and warranty issues
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and approve goodwill adjustments
  • Monitor revenue, margins, average ticket, close rates, and technician performance
  • Support complex diagnostics and ensure quality, code-compliant work
  • Use ServiceTitan to track KPIs and improve processes
  • Lead team meetings and foster a culture of accountability and growth

KPIs You’ll Own

  • Revenue per technician
  • Average ticket & close rate
  • Callback rate
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Technician efficiency & utilization

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Service Manager, Lead Tech, or Operations Manager
  • Strong technical background in HVAC
  • Proven leadership and coaching ability
  • Comfortable with metrics, reporting, and Service Titan software

Compensation

  • Starting at $70,000.00
  • Performance-based bonus
