Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately install or service systems.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and ensure proper integration with building infrastructure.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance fields.
- Hands-on knowledge of construction processes and property maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics reading, and equipment repair techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and appliance repair.
- Field service experience working directly on-site with clients in residential or commercial settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
- Additional skills such as welding, plumbing expertise, boiler operation knowledge, or mechanic experience are highly advantageous. Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
