Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and provide top-tier maintenance and repairs for commercial and residential clients. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring optimal system performance, safety, and energy efficiency across diverse property types. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on HVAC/R equipment to prevent failures and extend system lifespan.
- Install new HVAC systems following design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage or refrigerant lines.
- Use specialized tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system issues, repair procedures, and recommended upgrades or maintenance plans.
Qualifications
- Five years experience required.
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installation and maintenance projects.
- Experience with plumbing systems, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate field service equipment safely and efficiently; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, electrical troubleshooting using ohmmeters, and general equipment repair skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
