SUMMARY
Incumbents perform journey-level activities and quality control activities on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, and work closely with all related trades. Incumbents may serve as a lead worker, providing reports and condition of equipment, including troubleshooting, and maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, and may serve as a technical resource to other workers depending on assignment. Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting process-critical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and cooling systems in facilities with electrical and control systems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Vocational degree and two years of experience as a journey-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License and a Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
