1. Installation
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (split units, ducted units, chillers, etc.).
- Mount and connect compressors, condensers, evaporators, ductwork, and refrigerant lines.
- Ensure proper electrical and control wiring connections.
- Test and commission new systems to verify correct operation.
2. Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Clean filters, coils, condensers, and ducts to maintain efficiency.
- Check refrigerant levels and recharge when necessary.
- Lubricate moving parts to reduce wear and tear.
3. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose problems in HVAC systems, including mechanical faults, refrigerant leaks, and electrical issues.
- Replace defective parts such as motors, belts, thermostats, sensors, and control boards.
- Repair or replace ductwork and insulation.
- Calibrate thermostats and control systems.
4. System Testing & Performance Checks
- Measure and adjust airflow, temperature, and humidity.
- Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to monitor system performance.
- Ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow local building codes, electrical regulations, and environmental laws (especially related to refrigerants).
- Handle refrigerants safely, complying with environmental protection standards.
- Ensure safe working practices when using ladders, power tools, and electrical equipment.
