HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling equipment to identify problems accurately.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components as needed.
• Utilize schematics and mechanical knowledge to understand system layouts and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.

Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• Ammonia refrigeration systems
• Appliance repair techniques
• Equipment repair methodologies
• General mechanical skills with an emphasis on HVAC systems
• Experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred
• Ability to weld is a plus for certain repair tasks
• Valid driver's license required for van driving duties
