Job Purpose:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems across client sites. The role ensures optimal performance of all cooling and ventilation equipment to support smooth facility operations in accordance with Saudi standards, safety guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations. The technician plays a key role in maintaining the comfort, safety, and efficiency of building environments.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot faults in chillers, package units, split units, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance according to schedules and technical checklists.
  • Inspect and clean coils, filters, ducts, blowers, belts, and motors to ensure efficient operation.
  • Diagnose cooling, heating, and airflow issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Check refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and perform charging/recovery in line with safety guidelines.
  • Repair or replace compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and control components.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance energy efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Follow safety procedures, HVAC standards, and manufacturer guidelines while performing technical tasks.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, job cards, and records of all completed maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and other technical trades to support seamless facility operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Technology.
  • Certification in HVAC maintenance or refrigeration (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in the Saudi market.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical/electrical components.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing cooling and airflow issues.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in HVAC maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
