HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic field service team. Journeyman and Apprentice HVAC technicians are welcome and preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including central AC units, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and thermostats. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and thermostats
• Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for heating and cooling equipment
• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, capacitors, contactors, motors, control boards, relays, and valves
• Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, and sealed system repairs when necessary
• Inspect and maintain ductwork, airflow systems, and ventilation components
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system performance checks
• Submit clear service reports and photos after each job
• Maintain professional communication with tenants and property managers
• Manage daily service appointments efficiently and maintain service quality standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC repair experience
• Journeyman or Apprentice HVAC technicians are preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Experience troubleshooting compressors, capacitors, contactors, and thermostats
• EPA Certification required (Universal or Type II preferred)
• Previous experience as a field service technician is preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $55.00 per hour
