HVAC Technician

Overview
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation of ductless and traditional split HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install ductless mini-split and central split HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
• Perform start-up and testing of new systems to ensure proper operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order
• Document installation activities and complete required paperwork accurately

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience installing HVAC systems - ductless or split systems preferred
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation techniques and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC trade school certification or equivalent training
• Experience with both residential and light commercial installations
• Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
