HVAC Technician - Commercial

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify solutions.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
• Perform equipment repairs as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations for system improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and perform equipment repairs efficiently.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems and ammonia refrigeration is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
