HVAC Technician (Commercial Journeyman)

Our rapidly growing advanced construction company is actively recruiting an experienced commercial/industrial HVAC service technician to join our newly developed HVAC team. Your role will enable our organization to provide the best HVAC sales, service, and support throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and beyond.

This internal division complements our existing commercial electric division and be supported by our full suite of construction and manufacturing services.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation, maintenance, repairs, and modifications of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and accessories. Will report to senior manager and supervisors and assists the field supervisor or manager on work audits, site supervision, and work planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete inspections of all HVAC equipment in client’s facility.
• Collect all information from data plates on the equipment and any other information to complete the required paperwork.
• Use all HVAC tools including combustion analyzer, refrigeration gauges, recovery equipment, air meters, leak detectors, manometer, multi-meter, pressure differential equipment, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Complete accurate and detailed paperwork.
• Make necessary repairs to all types of heating and cooling equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferred experience of 2 or more years as service HVAC Tech
• Driver’s license
• Work independently, as well as a member of a team to accomplish tasks
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• EPA universal and other Journeyman State License.

Compensation will be based on experience and proven capabilities. All experienced lead installers, control, and chiller techs are invited to apply.
