HVAC Tradesman

Maintains,repairs,andteststhe HVAC/PlantServicesandphysicalassetsoftheHospital,ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Carries out assigned duties effectively to the required quality standards.
• Completesallreports,correspondence,WorkControldocumentsandother assigned paperwork.
• Organisestheworkandsuccessfullymanagestimetocompletehisassignments efficiently.
• Identifiesmaterialneedsforthesectionandadvises/updatestheTeam Leader/Engineer on critical items.
• Evaluateshisareacontinuously,andrecommendsproposalsforimprovements,new technology, efficiency benefits and system change.
• Ensureseffectiveuseofresourcesatalltimesandidentifies/followsuponthe materials required for assignments.
• Ensures to conclude assignments effectively.
• Understands and applies confidentiality to his activities.
• Demonstrates trade training in a wide range of cross-trade activities
• Implements Sustainable Practices/Policies in Facilities Management's operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeofhisspecialisttradeareaandbeabletoconductawiderangeofwork for other trades
• Knowledgeofcodesofpractice,applicablestandardsandengineeringprinciplesto effectively conduct his assignments
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings
