HVAC VRF Technician

Job Description:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance of VRF systems, split units, air handling units AHUs, fan coil units FCUs, and exhaust fans.
• Diagnose and repair faults in VRF systems including compressors, sensors, PCB boards, and communication wiring.
• Monitor system parameters, refrigerant pressure, and performance through controllers and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct leak testing, refrigerant recovery, and gas charging as per safety and environmental standards.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems or equipment relocation.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service reports for all HVAC and VRF systems.
• Ensure HVAC systems in critical hospital areas e.g., operation theaters, ICUs, labs operate within specified temperature and humidity parameters.
• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and energy conservation policies.
• Support other maintenance activities as directed by the Supervisor or Engineering Manager.
