HVAC Wholesale Warehouse Associate

Johnstone is growing. We are hiring for an additional Full Time team member to work in our HVAC wholesale warehouse. This is not a typical warehouse position. It requires interaction and teamwork with the counter team and a fair amount of customer service work. A good valid drives license is required. Use of a fork truck and pallet jack are used to move most product. Forklift experience is required. Assisting at the sales counter and with phones is required. You will also be making deliveries using a company truck both local and out of town areas​. Candidate must be a self starter and able to work without a lot of direction. Must be available to work 8:30am - 5:00pm and Saturdays from 8am to Noon. Typical shift is 8:30-5pm and at least every other Saturday. Overtime during our peak summer months will be required.

Warehouse Duties:

* Forklift certified

Operate forklift in a safe manner without damaging persons, product or property.

* Shipping and receiving

Ship out and receive orders (UPS, Corporate Dist., LTL etc.)

* Loading/Unloading equipment

Load equipment into a customer’s vehicle without damage to vehicle.

Unload equipment and stock without damaging product.

* Stocking

Stock product as it comes in from distribution centers, other stores and parcels.

* Keep warehouse organized

Keep isles clear, product straight and organized, no trash laying around, sweep floors as needed.

Maintain and keep trash and debris from pavement at loading docks and drive through door.

* Driving

Cover delivery driver when needed. (D.O.T. certified)

Class E drivers license.

* Counter

Assist with the counter and phones as needed.

* Janitorial

Keep your work station clean and organized.

Clean counters, floors and bathroom weekly.

Keep front sidewalk clear of debris.

* Dress code

Johnstone polo (Johnstone provided).

Khaki pants (Jeans allowed on Saturday only).

Jackets (Johnstone only).

Job Type: Full-time
