The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric care are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana.
ELMHS is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join the team in the Maintenance Department.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Four years of experience or training in the installation or maintenance of pneumatic, electrical, or electronic control systems for heating (including boiler), ventilating, or air conditioning systems.

Job Duties and Other Information
In This Role, You Will:

Provide supervisory, technical, and complex diagnostic analysis for all HVAC, refrigeration, electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems.

Supervise, direct, and assist subordinate HVAC technicians in diagnostic analysis for all HVAC and refrigeration equipment for repair and preventive maintenance programs.

Provide technical, pertinent information to maintenance managers and administration.

Direct and assist with the installation, repair, and diagnosis of all major repair and HVAC installation projects.

Develop, implement, and supervise the preventive maintenance program for all refrigeration / mechanical control systems.

Estimate time and materials related to the repair or installation of new and old equipment. Responsible for requisitions and materials to be purchased by the HVAC and Appliance departments.

Be on-Call for emergencies for the two (2) ELMHS campuses and direct all emergency responses for inclement weather, electrical outages, gas, sewer, and HVAC problems. Advises Facility Maintenance Manager C on all maintenance and repair problems.
