What This Firm Does

This consumer firm handles plaintiff-side Lemon Law cases with a structured team model. Litigators own the courtroom and strategy, while discovery attorneys support the written discovery side. The firm is intentional about building sustainable hybrid roles for proven litigators.

Why This Role Stands Out

This position is ideal for a litigator who wants serious work and responsibility but also needs flexibility. The firm is open to hybrid schedules once trust is built, especially for senior attorneys and parents who are balancing family obligations.

You get meaningful cases, bonus upside, and a path to Senior Associate, without being tied to your desk five days a week forever.

What You Will Do

  • Manage a Lemon Law litigation docket from complaint through resolution
  • Draft and argue motions, handle law and motion calendars
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement conferences
  • Work with discovery attorneys to delegate and oversee written discovery
  • Communicate with clients and ensure they understand process and strategy
  • Contribute to team strategy and help improve litigation processes over time

What You Need

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar in good standing
  • At least 3 years of civil litigation experience with motion and deposition work
  • Prior consumer, Lemon Law, PI, or similar experience is a plus
  • Ability to handle a busy caseload with some autonomy
  • Professional maturity to earn and maintain a hybrid schedule based on performance

Work Model

  • Initial training period of roughly 60 to 90 days mostly onsite
  • After that, hybrid schedule based on experience and team needs, typically 2 to 3 remote days per week for strong performers
  • Schedule specifics set with the hiring manager and practice lead

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary up to about 200,000 DOE
  • Bonus structure tied to motion, deposition, and case results, with clear written metrics
  • Full benefits package to be discussed directly with the firm
  • Path to Senior Associate for high performers within a reasonable timeframe
