Senior Human Resources Manager - Financial Services - [HYBRID]
[HR, Administration, and Personnel]
Position Overview
The Senior Human Resources Manager will serve as a strategic HR leader within a financial services organization, responsible for planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive HR programs. This role ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws, drives talent acquisition, manages compensation and benefits, and fosters a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience in the banking industry and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and compliance issues.
o Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
o Expertise in compensation, benefits, and performance management.
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
o Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (ADP experience preferred).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory compliance. Lead HR-related projects and initiatives to support organizational growth and efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, EEO, FMLA, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and healthcare reform. Ensure consistent interpretation and application across the organization.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
Lead recruitment efforts for all vacant positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop job descriptions for local staff and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
Analyze and modify compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and compliance. Administer salary programs and ensure equity within the organization.
Performance Management:
Manage the performance review process and implement reward and recognition programs to drive employee engagement and productivity.
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance on complex employee issues, including coaching, disciplinary actions, investigations, and separations. Represent the organization at hearings and investigations as needed.
Payroll & HR Systems Management:
Oversee administration of ADP payroll, timecard and leave management, and benefits for local staff.
Training & Development:
Coach and train managers and staff on HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations to mitigate risks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
