Hydraulic Technician -Heavy Machinery

We are Hiring Hydraulic Mechanic - Heavy Machinery Experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive hydraulic system diagnostics on cone crushers, pinpointing issues within Metso, Sandvik, and Power Screen equipment, ensuring optimal crusher performance.
• Conduct precise troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and component inspections, to avert unexpected failures and extend equipment lifespan.
• Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals accurately to identify component locations, understand system functions, and facilitate effective repairs.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new hydraulic systems and components on cone crushers, guaranteeing correct operation and system integration.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians or operators, imparting knowledge and expertise to develop their skills.

Requirements:

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; a relevant technical degree or certification in hydraulics or a related field is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with cone crushers, specifically Metso, Sandvik, or Power Screen equipment.
• Displays proficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and other technical documentation.
• Possesses the physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including the ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying weather conditions.
