We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail or supermarket accounting and be capable of handling day-to-day financial operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
- Handle cash flow management and reconciliation processes
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries
- Monitor inventory transactions and stock-related accounting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Assist in audits and support budgeting and forecasting activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
- Mandatory experience in retail or supermarket industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of VAT regulations in Oman
- Strong communication and organizational skills
