Hypermarket Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail or supermarket accounting and be capable of handling day-to-day financial operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle cash flow management and reconciliation processes
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries
  • Monitor inventory transactions and stock-related accounting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Assist in audits and support budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Mandatory experience in retail or supermarket industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations in Oman
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Visa & Benefits:

  • Visiting visa will be provided initially
  • Work visa will be provided after joining
