We are looking for a colleague who will work as a "Internal Audit Specialist / Senior Specialist" to be employed in our Kibar Group companies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or related fields,
- Knowledge of accounting and finance processes (costing, IFRS, etc) is an asset,
- Ability to assess strategic, business and process risks with strong multi-tasking and planning skills,
- Having strong analytical and process analysis skills,
- Having experience in risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies,
- Ability to work with deadlines and use own initiative with a positive can-do attitude,
- Broad business perspective with proactive approach (ability to see the big picture),
- Ability to take on responsibility, manage priorities, and delegate task,
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn,
- SMMM qualification (or CIA certification) is in an asset,
- Good command of MS Office tools,
- Good command of English both written and spoken,
- No travel restrictions,
Job Description
- Continuously evaluate risk exposures relating to the organization’s governance, operations and information systems regarding the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, effectiveness of operations, safeguarding of assets, compliance with laws, regulations and contracts in order to define auditable areas,
- Review the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and the means used to identify, measure, classify and report such information,
- Perform audit engagements (including financial, compliance and operational perspectives) in accordance with Global Internal Auditing Standards and as per approved audit plan and report results to Internal Audit Manager,
- Develop risk mitigation suggestions by agreeing on management actions, and conduct follow up audits with process owners,
- Ensure that the approved audit objectives are met and that practical audit coverage is achieved. Also communicate to Internal Audit Manager the impact of resource limitations, if any.
- Prepare and organize working papers with adequate documentation showing nature, scope and results of examination.
- Develop herself / himself to maintain the continuous improvement spirit in the department
- Support or take part in other projects and ad-hoc tasks (investigations, due diligences, etc.)
- Provide insight on compliance with company policies and procedures and regulations, and recommends improvements
- Liaise with Risk, Legal and other functions, to deliver integrated recommendations.
