We are seeking a Freelance IADC Certified Instructor to deliver IADC-accredited well control and drilling training programs on a project or course-based basis in Saudi Arabia. The instructor will be responsible for conducting high-quality classroom and simulator training in compliance with IADC standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver IADC-accredited training programs (WellSharp / WellCAP, as applicable)
- Conduct classroom, practical, and simulator-based training sessions
- Ensure full compliance with IADC standards and accreditation requirements
- Evaluate trainees through written exams, practical exercises, and simulations
- Maintain accurate training documentation and course records
- Update and align training materials with the latest IADC guidelines
- Promote HSE awareness and safe drilling practices
- Support internal and external audits when required
Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid IADC Instructor Certification (mandatory)
- Valid IADC Well Control Certification (Surface/Subsea, as applicable)
- Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in Petroleum / Mechanical / Drilling or related field (preferred)
- Train-the-Trainer certification is an advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of oil & gas drilling experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience delivering IADC training
- Strong hands-on knowledge of drilling operations and well control
- Middle East / Saudi project experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to train multicultural and multinational groups
- Strong command of English (Arabic is an advantage)
