Role description

We are looking for an IAM Operations Analyst to support day-to-day Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities across enterprise systems. The role focuses on managing user access, supporting Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, and ensuring secure and compliant access management for employees, contractors, and partners.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

  • Manage user onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding (JML processes)
  • Provision, modify, and revoke access to enterprise applications and systems
  • Handle access requests based on approved roles and security policies
  • Perform urgent access changes and user terminations as required

Directory & Account Administration

  • Create, update, disable, and maintain user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Manage security groups, distribution lists, and group memberships
  • Support administration of privileged, admin, and service accounts
  • Assist with account cleanup and identity reconciliation activities

Service & Ticket Management

  • Process IAM requests and incidents through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Ensure requests are completed within SLA timelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records
  • Escalate complex issues to IAM Engineering teams when needed

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Support access reviews, certifications, and audit activities
  • Ensure access follows least-privilege and security best practices
  • Adhere to IAM policies, standards, and operational procedures

Continuous Improvement

  • Follow IAM SOPs, runbooks, and operational processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge management

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in IAM Operations, Access Management, or IT Operations
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Understanding of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Knowledge of access control, RBAC, and least-privilege concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to IAM/Governance tools such as SailPoint
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance, or access reviews
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services
