We are seeking an experienced IBM DataStage Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our enterprise ETL environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in administering DataStage 11.x, ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and smooth operations across environments.

• Administer, configure, and maintain IBM DataStage environments across Dev, QA, and Production.

• Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and migration of DataStage components.

• Monitor ETL job performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

• Troubleshoot platform issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.

• Manage user security, roles, and access controls.

• Optimize server and engine tier configurations to ensure maximum throughput.

• Collaborate with development teams for deployment and release management.

• Implement backup, recovery, and DR strategies for the DataStage ecosystem.

• Generate system health reports and proactively identify problem areas.
  

• 7–8 years of hands-on experience administering IBM DataStage.

• Strong understanding of DataStage architecture (Engine Tier, Services Tier).

• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and automation.

• Knowledge of IBM Information Server Suite.

• Experience with SSL, LDAP integration, and security configurations.

• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M preferred).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
