IC4 Principal Program Manager, Datacenter Infrastructure Delivery Engineering (Nashville TN, Austin TX)

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive plans to align cloud infrastructure projects with Oracle's overall business strategy.

Program Management:

• Lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale programs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

• Create project roadmaps, identify dependencies, and allocate resources effectively.

• Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress, address risks, and provide updates to stakeholders.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Facilitate collaboration between various teams, including engineering, operations, and cloud services, to ensure a unified approach.

• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical groups, fostering effective communication.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize workflows, enhancing efficiency across cloud infrastructure delivery.

• Implement best practices and industry standards to improve overall project management.

Risk Management and Mitigation:

• Proactively identify and assess risks associated with cloud infrastructure projects.

• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Vendor and Partner Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.

• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams as needed.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and measure project success.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Extensive experience in program management, preferably within the cloud computing or technology industry.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP certification, Agile) and tools (MS Project, Smartsheet).

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building consensus.

Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Experience in cloud infrastructure or data center environments is highly desirable.

Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
