Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Retail Associate to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. Bilingual abilities and previous supervisory experience are a plus. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain proper merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
• Support in supervising team members when required, ensuring store policies are followed
• Perform basic retail math for sales transactions and inventory counts
• Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming
• Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish or others)
• Experience with supervising or leading team members is advantageous
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales and inventory purposes
• Skilled in upselling, merchandising, and product demonstrations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for transactions and stock calculations
• Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
