Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing cash transactions, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS system.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure timely service of orders.
• Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide support in various roles as needed within the café or restaurant environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus.
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential, but can be trained.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
