About The Role:

Are you ready to play a key role in creating an unforgettable holiday experience? At Las Vegas Ballpark, for Enchant, we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Ice Technician to keep our skating trail and snow slide in top condition throughout the season. From operating the Zamboni to monitoring chiller systems, you’ll ensure the ice sparkles as brightly as the holiday lights, giving guests the smoothest and safest glide possible.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain the Ice: Operate the Zamboni to resurface ice before, during, and after event hours. Patch soft spots, monitor for glycol leaks, and keep conditions safe and pristine for skating and sliding.

• Daily Operations: Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the Zamboni, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and adjust chiller temperatures as needed to maintain optimal ice quality.

• Support the Guest Experience: Deliver the foundation of the skating magic by ensuring high-quality ice conditions that enhance every guest’s visit.

• Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with the Skate Shop, Snow Slide, and Event Operations Teams to schedule resurfacing times and ensure seamless activity transitions.

• Follow Safety Protocols: Always operate equipment with care, following strict safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment on and off the ice.

• Stay Informed: Attend pre-shift briefings, communicate via radio, and provide nightly operational reports to Production and Event Managers.

• Professional Presence: Maintain your uniform and credentials, contributing to the professional, festive atmosphere of the event.

About You:

• Zamboni Experience: Proven ability to operate a Zamboni or similar large equipment.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Safety Focus: Strong adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Guest-Focused Mindset: Commitment to delivering quality ice conditions that elevate the guest experience.

• Physical Stamina: Able to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and manage physical demands of the role.

• Team Player: Effective communicator who collaborates well with other staff and departments.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including peak dates.

• Preferred Skills: Prior ice floor maintenance or commercial HVAC experience is a plus, though all experience levels are welcome to apply.

• References Required: Applicants must provide professional references for consideration.

Commitment:

• Training: Dates to be confirmed.

• Show Period: November 19 – December 28, 2025 (Afternoon/Evening Hours)

• Availability: Must be prepared to work every day which may include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

• Load-Out: Dates to be confirmed.

Compensation range: $35-36 Hourly, Temporary/Seasonal
