Position Objectives:

Own and drive ICT Asset Management at the intersection of telecom network infrastructure, datacenter operations, and enterprise asset governance. This domain goes far beyond standard IT asset management and demands deep technical fluency across complex, multi-site, multi-client environments.

Bring proven experience from large-scale telecom or datacenter infrastructure programs, multi-site network rollouts, DC audits, or national ICT projects to define and enforce asset management standards, policies, and procedures that field teams can consistently execute at scale.

Ensure everything captured on-site is clean, reconciled, and decision-ready, integrating field operations, data governance, and stakeholder reporting into a single accountable asset management function.

Support the organisation's AI and data strategy by ensuring asset data quality, completeness, and structure meet the standards required for AI-driven analytics, intelligent CMDB platforms, and automated asset lifecycle management.

Drive measurable improvements in asset visibility, data accuracy, and operational readiness across a multi-client datacenter and telecom infrastructure environment.
Job Description & Responsibilities

Act as the go-to authority for ICT asset management across telecom and datacenter infrastructure, with accountability for standards, quality, and outcomes.

Define and enforce asset management standards and procedures: asset attributes, naming conventions, rack/row/location identifiers, labelling and tagging rules, evidence requirements, and exception handling across multiple clients and sites.

Develop and maintain asset management policies aligned with ISO 55000, ITIL, and enterprise governance frameworks.

Define required survey methodologies and ensure consistent execution across multi-site, multi-client environments.

Ensure compliance with site rules, access control protocols, client segregation requirements, and safety standards at all times.

Provide technical guidance to field teams for correct asset identification, differentiation of asset types, and interpretation of vendor labels, chassis families, model identifiers, and other physical attributes.

Ensure accurate and complete capture of all required asset fields during on-site surveys and audits.

Execute and oversee multi-site physical surveys with consistent methodology, structured checklists, and scanning tools.

Implement quality control processes, including sampling checks, peer verification, repeat scans, and discrepancy triage before reconciliation submission.

Coordinate with site and operations teams for access control, escorting, scheduling, and safety requirements.

Support reconciliation workflows by preparing clean survey extracts and clearly categorised discrepancy reports for the Data & Reporting/Reconciliation Specialist.

Ensure asset data is structured, complete, and ready for integration with CMDB, DCIM, and AI-driven analytics platforms.

Contribute to the improvement of asset data quality as a foundational input for AI, automation, and predictive lifecycle management initiatives within the department.

Produce reliable documentation and structured reporting for internal stakeholders and client deliverables.

Track and report on asset data accuracy, survey completion, discrepancy resolution, and audit readiness metrics.

Engage with internal stakeholders, field teams, and clients to align on asset management requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

Contribute to RFP responses, procurement evaluations, and scope definitions in the domain of asset management.

Support client-facing interactions with clear, practical communication on asset management standards, findings, and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.

8–15 years in ICT Asset Management with hands-on exposure to high-tech telecom and datacenter assets.
-
Solid technical understanding of datacenter hardware and telecom equipment identification, including vendors, chassis families, and labelling conventions across major OEMs.

Proven experience managing and executing multi-site physical surveys with consistent methodology and quality outcomes.
-
Experience operating in multi-client datacenter or telecom environments, with an understanding of client segregation, confidentiality, and access control requirements.
-
Familiarity with CMDB and DCIM platforms and their role in asset lifecycle management.
-
Experience with or exposure to AI-driven asset management tools, intelligent inventory platforms, or automated discovery solutions is an advantage.

Strong practical skills with scanning tools, structured checklists, and producing clean datasets for reconciliation and reporting.

Experience contributing to RFPs, procurement processes, or vendor evaluations in the asset management or infrastructure domain.

Background in ITIL, ISO 55000, or structured asset governance frameworks is an advantage.
