Role Overview
This is a site-based ICT engineering role focused on supervising and verifying the execution of ICT and low-current systems for data center projects. The role is centered on installation quality, compliance, technical coordination, testing readiness, and handover support across structured cabling and associated ICT infrastructure. The ICT Site Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems are installed according to specifications, coordinated with other trades, and delivered in line with mission-critical project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Review and provide technical oversight on ICT/ELV design deliverables, IFC/AFC drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals.

Verify contractor compliance with client standards, international codes, and project requirements.

Coordinate ICT/ELV interfaces with MEP, CSA, IT, DCIM, BMS, security, and commissioning teams.

Identify design gaps, clashes, constructability issues, and integration risks, and support timely resolution.

Monitor on‑site ICT/ELV installation activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, methods, and sequencing.

Conduct site inspections, witness works and verify workmanship quality.

Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Testing Procedures.

Track ICT/ELV progress against the approved schedule and flag risks to milestones, phased handovers, or commissioning windows.

Monitor contractor QA/QC implementation, including inspections, snagging, NCR management, and corrective actions.

Witness structured cabling testing and certification (fiber and copper) and review test results for compliance.

Verify correct implementation of redundancy, segregation, labeling, routing diversity, and A/B path architecture.

Ensure ICT/ELV system readiness for power‑on, testing, and transition to operations.

Validate system integration with DCIM/FMS, BMS, security platforms, and network monitoring systems.

Enforce adherence to site HSE policies and safe working practices during ICT/ELV activities.

Support issue resolution during commissioning, client witnessing, and early operational phases.

Review and recommend acceptance of O&M manuals, asset registers, labeling schemes, and training materials.

Support staged and final handover, system acceptance, and operational readiness reviews.

Provide clear technical reporting to the PMC Lead, Project Manager, and Client stakeholders.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements

Site supervision and inspection of ICT / ELV systems works

Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems in data center environments

Experience with fiber optic backbone and copper cabling installation

Knowledge of ICT rooms, MDF / IDF setup, and containment systems

Review of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals

Supervision of installation for CCTV, ACS, PA, AV, BMS interfaces, and related ELV systems where applicable

Coordination with MEP, CSA, and commissioning teams on site

Quality control and compliance verification against project specifications and standards

Progress tracking and reporting of ICT installation activities

Testing, labeling, termination, and handover readiness verification

Ability to identify risks, clashes, and sequencing issues on site

Support in as-built review, snagging, punch listing, and project handover
