ICT/Coding Teacher

Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated ICT/Coding Teacher to join our team at Westview International School . We are seeking a passionate educator who is eager to inspire and engage students in the world of Information and Communication Technology and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive ICT and coding lessons to students across various grade levels, ensuring all lesson plans are aligned with the curriculum.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular feedback, assignments, and practical coding projects.
• Encourage students to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on coding exercises and collaborative projects.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in technology and coding education, integrating new concepts and tools into the curriculum as appropriate.
• Support and guide students in developing their understanding of computer science principles, coding languages, and software development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to express themselves.
• Engage with parents and the school community to promote the importance of ICT and coding education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
• Experience teaching ICT and coding to students, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of various programming languages and ICT tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with colleagues.
• Passion for technology and education, with a desire to inspire students to explore the digital world.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
