Key responsibilities
- Staff supervision and management:
- Oversee and mentor nursing staff, ensuring they adhere to professional standards and hospital policies.
- Manage staff schedules, assignments, and monitor performance.
- Address staff concerns and create a positive work environment.
- Patient care:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by supervising and coordinating with other healthcare professionals like doctors.
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently.
- Oversee patient safety, comfort, and hygiene.
- Conduct patient rounds to monitor care and provide guidance.
- Administrative and operational tasks:
- Manage the unit's daily operations, including supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure their confidentiality.
- Handle inventory, check supplies, and manage stock registers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and standards like NABH.
- Problem-solving and emergency response:
- Handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any patient or staff complaints promptly.
- Make administrative decisions to resolve problems as they arise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
