ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RNs) for 13-week contract assignments in a hospital-based Intensive Care Unit. This role is ideal for critical care nurses who are confident managing high-acuity patients, advanced monitoring, and complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications, titratable drips, and treatments per protocol
• Assist with invasive procedures and advanced life-support interventions
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and hemodynamic data
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary ICU team members

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, high-stress environments

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA required)
• ACLS required
• PALS preferred (include only if facility-mandated)

Contract Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (days or nights, based on availability)
• Employment Type: Contract (not a permanent full-time role)
