Position Title: Staff Nurse

Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent

Job Purpose:

To provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensure adherence to clinical standards, and support doctors in delivering quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the physician or medical officer.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and reports.
• Support doctors during rounds, procedures, and treatments.
• Assist in admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in patient care areas.
• Adhere to infection control, biomedical waste management, and hospital protocols.
• Perform emergency procedures like CPR when necessary.
• Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for efficient patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing (Registered with State Nursing Council)
• 0–3 years of experience (freshers welcome)
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night duties
• Sound knowledge of nursing practices, equipment, and hospital protocols

Working Hours
