Join our Core Infrastructure team and play a key role in managing and enhancing authentication platforms such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

What role will you play?

As an Identity Engineer, your work will include onboarding applications to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), managing Conditional Access policies, and implementing automation, reporting, and alerting to deliver secure, reliable services.

You’ll also drive continuous improvement and provide platform support to ensure authentication remains highly available across all Macquarie applications.
What you offer

  • Experience in administering and supporting identity platforms such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user lifecycle management and troubleshooting authentication issues.
  • Hands-on experience integrating internal and third-party applications with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and ensuring smooth adoption.
  • Strong understanding of Conditional Access policies, with the ability to design, implement, and optimise for security and compliance.
  • Proficiency in developing automation scripts, generating authentication and security reports, and implementing alerting for anomalies.
  • Ability to provide Tier 2/3 operational support, participate in on-call rotations, and drive continuous improvement through automation.
