IGCSE English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum
  • Prepare students for IGCSE assessments and board examinations
  • Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and learning resources
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Maintain effective classroom management and discipline
  • Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school activities
  • Support students’ academic and personal development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IGCSE/Secondary English in a UAE school is mandatory
  • British Curriculum experience required
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • MoE approval required as per UAE regulations
  • Candidates based in Ajman or Sharjah preferred
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference
