What You'll Do:

• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Analyze specimens and accurately interpret test results.
• Ensure quality control standards are met to maintain testing accuracy and reliability.
• Document and report laboratory findings promptly and accurately.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and preparation as needed.
• Follow all laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing laboratory education.

Qualifications:

Education-

One of the following is required:

• Associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program; or
• Associate degree with at least 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university, including biology and chemistry coursework, plus three years of full-time clinical laboratory experience; or
• Successful completion of an equivalent training program meeting applicable regulatory requirements.

Experience-

• One to two years of laboratory experience preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Licensure & Certification-

• Registration as one of the following is required:
  • MLT (ASCP)
  • MLT (AMT)
  • HEW
  • CLS (NCA)
  • Equivalent certification accepted
• Registry certification must be obtained within 12 months of completion of school, training, or equivalent educational requirements in accordance with CLIA standards.

Compensation:

Hourly- $23.88-$35.82
