Timings: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Illustrator & Character Artist who can work confidently across multiple illustration categories, including children’s books, comic art, book cover designs, and character development. If you love bringing stories and characters to life with expressive visuals and consistent styles, this role is an excellent fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Children’s Book Illustration

Create warm, expressive, and age-appropriate illustrations tailored to each story’s tone.

Develop engaging characters and storytelling visuals that resonate with young readers.

Comic Illustration

Produce clean and consistent comic artwork, including dynamic poses and clear panel layouts.

Ensure characters remain expressive, consistent, and visually appealing throughout the pages.

Book Cover Illustration

Design polished, eye-catching book covers that accurately reflect the book’s theme, genre, and mood.

Create compelling compositions that attract readers and elevate the book’s visual identity.

Character Artist Responsibilities

Design unique, memorable characters from scratch based on descriptions or scripts.

Develop character sheets, turnarounds, expression sheets, and pose variations.

Maintain consistency in character proportions, style, and emotions across all illustrations.

Enhance visual storytelling through strong character silhouettes, color choices, and personality traits.

General Responsibilities

Understand scripts, references, and creative briefs to ensure the artwork aligns with creative direction.

Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams.

Deliver high-quality artwork within established deadlines.

Make revisions professionally and incorporate feedback smoothly.

Maintain consistent visual style and overall quality throughout the project.

What We’re Looking For

A solid portfolio showcasing children’s illustrations, comic art, book cover designs, and character design work.

Strong command of digital illustration tools (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, etc.).

Excellent grasp of storytelling, character design, color theory, lighting, and composition.

Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Clear communication skills with a positive, professional attitude.

Nice to Have

Experience working across different art styles (cel-shading, stylized coloring, cartoon styles, semi-realistic, etc.).

Previous work with publishing houses, creative agencies, or long-term illustration projects.

Knowledge of layout design, typography, or motion graphics (optional but beneficial).
