Immediate Hiring for Sourcing Specialist - (Food Industry )

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers for export-grade food products, packaging materials, and logistics services. This role ensures quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency across international supply chains. The ideal candidate will have experience in global procurement, food safety standards, and export documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop sourcing strategies for export-grade food products (e.g., coconut, fruit-based items, spices)

- Identify and onboard suppliers who meet international quality and certification standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, USDA Organic, etc.)

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and Incoterms with domestic and international vendors

- Collaborate with quality assurance and compliance teams to ensure traceability and safety

- Manage supplier audits and performance reviews

- Coordinate with logistics partners for cold chain, sea/air freight, and customs clearance

- Maintain procurement records and ensure alignment with export documentation (COO, phytosanitary, invoice, packing list)

- Monitor global market trends and commodity pricing

- Support cost optimization and inventory planning across export hubs

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, International Business, or Supply Chain

- 3–8 years of sourcing experience in the food export sector

- Strong understanding of export documentation and compliance

- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement platforms

- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

- Knowledge of international trade regulations and certifications

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience with coconut, fruit-based, or perishable product sourcing

- Multilingual communication (English + Tamil preferred)

- Familiarity with destination market standards (EU, US, Middle East, ASEAN)

- Ability to travel for supplier audits and trade shows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
